Citizens National Bank was recently recognized for the third year in a row as being one of the top community banks in the nation by the ICBA Independent Banker®, the magazine of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). 2011 was a great year for our bank, and this acknowledgement reflects the strong year-end earnings and operational efficiencies we attained.
This year’s ICBA 400 shows that the overall performance of community banks across the country continues to steadily improve since the Wall Street financial crisis. According to Chris Lorence, ICBA executive vice president and chief marketing officer, “The community banks highlighted in this year’s ICBA 400 exemplify the mission of community banking by reinvesting locally in their communities and making them a better place for their customers to live and work each and every day.”
Citizens National Bank is honored to be included in this group of high performing banks and we look forward to having another strong year in 2012.
